DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS

1. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT - Must meet United States Employment Eligibility requirements (I-9 form). Applicant must
possess
a valid driver’s license, in current state of residence. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age. Applicant must have held a
driver’s license within the United States or USA territories for the last 12 consecutive months.
2. DUI/DWI - No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years if the offense occurred while they held a CDL-A or Permit. No DUI/DWI
within
The last 5 years if the offense occurred prior to getting a CDL-A. No Multiple DUI/DWI’s. No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle.
3. DRUG/SUBSTANCE TEST - No use of illegal drugs, positive/refused tests in the past 10 years if the incident occurred
while
they held a CDL-A or Learners permit. No use of illegal drugs, positive or refused tests within the past 5 years if the incident
occurred prior to getting a CDL-A. No use of illegal drugs, positive/refused test in a commercial vehicle ever. No use or
possession of marijuana in the past 3 years and no conviction within the last 5 years.
4. MOVING VIOLATIONS - No more than 2 MV’s in the last 2 years. No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months. Serious
traffic violations include: Hand-held device, reckless driving, speeding more than 15 over the limit, following too closely,
failing to obey a traffic control device, erratic driving, improper lane change and or leaving the scene of an accident.
*Serious traffic violations per 49CFR 383.51. Citations for driving while driver’s license or Medical Certificate was
suspended, disqualified, or expired will be reviewed individually by Safety.
5. ACCIDENTS - No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the past 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the
last 5 years (example: jackknife, overturn, etc.) INCIDENTS - No more than 3 preventable incidents within the last 2 years. The
combination all of preventable accidents and incidents in the last 2 years may not exceed 3.
6. CRIMINAL HISTORY - Will be reviewed on individual basis.

Over The Road

Positions Available

48 state coverage with a high concentration of lanes in the Southeast, Midwest, West Coast and Northeast. Productive drivers in the OTR division average 3,000 miles per week and accumulate one (1) home day per week on the road. (Mileage Pay applicable)

Regional - Texas

Mileage and hourly positions.  Lanes include TX, OK, LA, AR, and limited MS, and AL.  Drivers typically are 200-400 miles from Dallas, TX area and if domiciled there are home a couple times per week.

Local City - Dallas/Ft. Worth

Hourly (day and night shift) positions.  Lanes include Dallas and surrounding cities.

Regional - Alabama

Drivers must live within 100-mile radius of Montgomery, AL.  Lanes include Southeast, Midwest and Noreast states.  Drivers typically home 1-2 days every 7-10 days.

Basic Driver Qualifications

 Class A CDL
 *Be at least 23 years old with a good driving record for the past three years
 *Evaluation of any felony and/or misdemeanor convictions
*Ability to pass a Department of Transportation drug screen and physical
*Solid, verifiable work history
*No drug or alcohol related convictions in the past three years
